The first time I played one, the thick, classic tone from the 2 humbuckers surprised me the most. The pickups are as generic as the guitar, but the thick cleans with a strong hint of dirt tone was as close to the old school blues sound as you can get! And the construction! Well, her fretboard is laurel wood, which "My New Microphone" says is a "superb fretboard tonewood." And her body made of basswood is as solid as they come!
